VOGEL'S offers sweet promotional items in direct sales - produced in colour, design and layout and delivered according to the customer's specifications. VOGEL'S takes the increasing digitalisation of sales channels into account with a custom-developed B2B webshop based on Symfony that is fully tailored to the customer's needs.

In addition to product quality, VOGEL'S is characterised by a high level of service. All individual customer requests are met wherever possible, and this flexibility had to be reflected in the newly developed B2B webshop.
Standardised e-commerce solutions do not offer the possibilities that are necessary for these complex requirements, especially in the context of price calculation/scales and customer-specific delivery conditions. Therefore, the shop was developed completely individually on the basis of the open-source php framework Symfony.
Numerous service options lead to a multitude of different price components. In combination with quantity-dependent price scales, this results in an unusually complex price calculation logic.
In addition to the stable technical implementation of the calculation logic, the focus in the implementation was on an intuitive frontend in order to create maximum transparency and user comfort for the customers. If a selected configuration requires further information for a reliable price calculation, a non-binding request can be made conveniently.
All price components (print motif, set-up costs, etc.) are listed in the shopping cart. In the course of specifying the data on shipping and delivery, the customer can enter any individual wishes regarding the delivery date and any shipping options.
Separate action landing pages can be generated from the system. These serve as target pages for advertising campaigns via different media. Alternative promotion price scales and further supplementary information can be stored for the products displayed here. Orders via a landing page - marked accordingly - go into the order overview of the shop backend.
The backend, which was developed to meet the special requirements of VOGEL'S, simplifies the maintenance of the extensive product and category information that was initially imported from the ERP. The database is regularly updated automatically in productive operation.
The editorial maintenance of the products takes place in the shop backend, as does the assignment to the clients for Germany, Austria, France and multilingual Switzerland.
